About me
Let's bring ownership back.
Keynote speaker, consultant, author and systemic coach. For more than 15 years, I have been supporting organizations through change processes.
Let's find out together where your organization is really losing ownership, and how it can be built.
Why I do this
I believe that people want to give their best. Taking ownership of an area is in the nature of most.
Many organizations have unlearned how to nurture this natural drive; they even suppress it: conflicting goals, unclear areas of responsibility or confusing processes make employees resign more and more, until at some point they only do "the bare minimum".
In numerous projects, I then experienced leaders demanding more ownership, simply wishing that employees would burn for a goal or a project just as they do themselves. They see the problem exclusively in the intrinsic motivation of the workforce.
But unfortunately it is not that simple. Ownership stands on the three pillars "Able to", "Safe to" and "Want to", each consisting of elements of structure, information and disposition. This is how the Ownership Triangle developed by itself over the years of my project work – from practice, for practice.
How I got here
I do not have a classic consulting career behind me. My first training was as a paralegal and notary assistant. Then came years in temporary staffing, in operations, as an assistant to the managing director in a joint venture. The same observation everywhere: people knew exactly what should have been done. They did not do it anyway, because the structures around them did not allow it.
I have been working freelance since 2011. Since then I have worked as a change manager, consultant and keynote speaker, in corporations and in mid-sized companies, carrying the same question with me that had already occupied me in every role before: why do capable people not take responsibility, and what brings them back? From working with clients from DAX corporations to mid-sized companies, the answer emerged: the Ownership Triangle.
Four roles, one conviction
Keynote speaker
On stage, I make the same structural explanation visible, in front of 50 to over 2,000 people, without motivational platitudes.
Author
I write about what really works: in books with Haufe and GABAL and in articles for trade magazines.
Consultant
I work directly with change and communication teams in large organizations and build the structures that make ownership truly sustainable.
Coach
As a trained systemic coach, I work one on one with leaders who want to understand their own share in the structures they have built themselves.

Why there are no cookies here
You have probably met the monster on the homepage. It went looking for a cookie banner and found none. That is on purpose. This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and runs no tracking or analytics. Even the fonts come from this server instead of from Google. Beyond the technical minimum, data is only processed when you do something yourself: load the podcast player, or send an Assessment request.
The reason is not technical tidiness. It is how I want to treat people.
If you are here because you are interested, we will get in touch anyway. You will write to me, book a conversation or start with the Assessment. If you are here just to find out what I do, I do not need to run after you with retargeting, reminders and follow-up sequences. I do not need to know who you are or how long you stayed.
What I do collect, I collect to answer you, and nothing beyond that. The details are in the privacy policy.
Let's talk about where your organization loses ownership.
Start with a conversation, or with the Assessment.
